Rest In Peace to a Fashion and Film Icon

The legendary Elizabeth Taylor passed away Wednesday morning. Her fashion influence is most evident on celebs you see on the red carpet as she defined the word Glamorous. Also any celeb coming out with their own perfume or jewelry line has Liz to thank for creating those opportunities also.

Liz Taylor is now with her good friend Michael Jackson * whose sister Janet (the Icon) rocked Radio City this week

Thursday Nite Live

A few weeks ago I went to Thursday Nite Live at the John Varvatos Store it's one of many cool events where industries collide. The store use to be CBGB (legendary venue for live music). The first thursday of every month they have a live performance with free drinks and free admission (you must RSVP). This month they had Tommy Stinson and The Jamie Mcclean band. The crowd is very diverse. After getting the first glass of my free whiskey, I saw some old school rockers, hot college chicks fom NYU and even bumped into Jake Gylinhall (I spelled that wrong didn't I)
